BREAKING NEWS: Bluegrass SWE Wins Region G Aspiring Program Award!!!
“The Engineering Behind The Chocolate Chip Cookie” program presented at GEMS last fall was awarded the Professional Section Aspiring Program Award at the Region G Conference in February. The program involved a mutli-step approach to illustrate the importance of lean manufacturing in the production of chocolate chip cookies. The girls also learned about the inventor and patent agreement surrounding the cookie and the chemistry behind baking them. Thanks to Christina Cignarale who helped develop the program and to all the members who gave feedback and helped present the program. Great job ladies!! Our documents on the program have already been shared with another section. You can also find them on our website's Reference Materials page.
